SOLAR SPY SP. Z O.O. has obtained a grant from the European Union for a project entitled: “Transformation towards Industry 4.0 technology by means of automation of the process and accuracy of calculation of electricity production forecasts through the use of artificial intelligence.”

The project involves the purchase of dedicated software to automate the electricity production forecasting process and improve the accuracy of calculating forecasts for large-scale photovoltaic installations through the use of artificial intelligence.

The aim of the project is to develop a new, innovative product of the Solar Spy Sp. z o.o. platform used for automatic inspection of photovoltaic farms, allowing to carry out a comprehensive inspection without the participation of an expert, and to increase the efficiency of regularly performed inspections.

Thanks to the implementation of the project and a fundamental change in the processes of service provision, it will be possible to improve the capacity and efficiency of the company’s operations and introduce process innovation in the implementation of services related to the forecasting of electricity production. The implementation of the project will introduce transformation processes in Solar Spy Sp. z o.o. towards Industry 4.0, thanks to the use of such technologies as Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Internet of Things, Big Data and data analysis activities.

Project value: PLN 1,951,067.00.

Amount of European Funds contribution: PLN 951,739.99.
